Startups Without Borders, the global platform building a startup ecosystem for refugee and migrant entrepreneurs, has just announced a new partnership with The Cairo Angels to launch the Quarantine Sessions Ramadan Edition.
Launched in March 2020 following the announcement of lockdown in Italy, the Quarantine Sessions is a series of webinars to provide entrepreneurs with insights, tools and strategies to navigate the Covid19 crisis while building and growing their businesses.
With 20 published episodes and guests from Italy, USA, Egypt, Portugal, Turkey and Germany, the
webinar series has featured prominent international guests, including Brian Bordley from Silicon Valley’s Berkeley Skydeck; Dina Mofty, founder of Injaz Egypt; Lorenzo Minio Paluello, from Roma Startup; and TEDx Award-winning speaker Sangbreeta Moitra.

Now, as Ramadan kicks off in the midst of a worldwide lockdown, Startups Without Borders joins forces with The Cairo Angels to provide founders with valuable know how and tools to build their business and raise investments during uncertain times.

The Cairo Angels will work closely with Startups Without Borders team during their Ramadan campaign through providing workshops that will tackle different needs to ensure our entrepreneurs have all the skill sets needed to launch or boost their projects,” says Zeina Mandour, General Manager of The Cairo Angels.
This special season will focus on strengthening strategies in the MENA startup ecosystem, discussing topics such as “The Secret to a Good Pitch”, “How to start a business in a new country,” “Product and Growth Management”, “Raising investment: Angels, VCs, and family offices,” and others.
