Privacy solved with CyberTalents.
Privacy has become a hot topic when it comes to digital data access. Especially given the GDPR enforcement… it has become a requirement for all websites looking towards the European Union. It’s also been a major concern for companies looking to protect data, and cyber security hiring is difficult.
How can we defeat that?
Well Cybertalents is a startup that rose to the occasion and put an end to all the confusion. Let us tell you the story of CyberTalents how they are providing more safety by protecting our privacy using hackers. Reverse psychology?
CyberTalents solves one of the most critical issues for hiring in security
So here’s the story: CyberTalents started off by managing Capture the Flag (CFTs) Competitions. These competitions basically consist of cybersecurity quests designed to challenge the participants to solve computer security problems and defend computer systems. CTF competitions may take a few short hours, an entire day or even multiple days.
Launching CTFs
It became evident that the top rankers in CTFs usually managed to land nice jobs after being noticed by companies that attend conferences where the CTFs were held (kind of like the NBAs or any kind of athletic or musical scouting).
The more competitions that CyberTalents hosted, they also noticed that that the market seemed to have an an ever growing need for high skills cyber security talents (there’s nearly a 2-million-people-shortage)
CyberTalents decided to become the missing link between the people that wanted to prove their qualifications for job vacancies and the people that were looking for qualified people to fill their job vacancies.
When CyberTalents launched they had the the aim to automate and ease the creation of CTFs and provide it as a service to find the best talents, rank them across the globe and bring them to Cyber Security Game. They started doing that by providing competitions on their platforms that allowed techies to highlight their capabilities and strengths. Not only that, but there was even a ranking system that helps recruiters compare potential candidates with one another. And all through gamification!
Where are they now?
CyberTalents are not only homegrown and active in Egypt, they are heading to Syria, Sudan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and more Arab countries for national competitions . The platform’s vision is to build the largest cyber security community in the world to be able to solve workforce shortage and future cyber security problems.
