Why was the name Hygge chosen?
Hygge was originally chosen to be the name of our Coworking Space as it describes the feel of comfort and simplicity. It aims to provide an environment that is free from distractions; an environment that also fosters contentment and satisfaction. The space aspires to be the place where anyone can find their coziness, because Hygge does this by caring for the smallest details.
The entire location is designed to stimulate your minds and senses to help you get the job done. The lightning, the chosen colors, and the music will enable you to do your best. Hygge Coworking Space values the work atmosphere of creativity and productivity. It is an inspiring cooperative location that offers a community of likeminded people that enjoy working in a home-alike zone of comfortable set-up with desired surroundings.

The space has two main areas. The first floor includes the entrance, the meeting rooms, and the training room. The basement floor includes both, the indoor and outdoor shared spaces. That allows the space to cater to different needs, and to give choices to students, freelancers, and entrepreneurs.
For business and meetings, Hygge took care of the meeting rooms to address the needs of group and business meetings by providing all the facilities needed for effective results. The white boards, flip charts and projectors, are all provided with a perfect set-up that offers a quality experience.
And given that Hygge has a passion for people development, it aims to increase learning opportunities and knowledge sharing by conducting regular training programs, sessions, and workshops. It’s our vision to support and develop the youth!
